An overview

Jokky Garments Ltd. is a 100% Export oriented Ready Made Garments (RMG) manufacturing concern. It was early 80s when Bangladesh started export to the international market. In the year 1984 Jokky was established as a concern of Opsonin Group of Ind.Ltd. In its age of 20 years Jokky achieved success, fame and has been able to write it's name among the major apparel manufacturers in the country.

Bangladesh has long history of tradition in the textile sector-- once it was famous for Muslin, Silk and Jamdani in world market. Because of it's age-old tradition and success in textile sector it entered in the Ready-made- garments manufacturing trade focusing the market of USA and EU in the late 70s. Since then it was a great success story and Bangladesh became the 6th biggest exporter of RMG in USA, EU and Canada.

Since birth Jokkys major buyers are from Europe. Jokky is also doing orders from USA through local liaison offices of those buyers. C & A from Germany has been the major buyer of Jokky for years. Other buyers beside C & A are Wal-mart & Goodys from USA.

Jokkys present high reputation to the buyers lies on is maintaining higher quality. The Company strictly follows the AQL Inspection level mark. Organizations Quality Control division strictly maintains this standard during the production and before the final release of the Garments. Buyers representatives also perform this discipline on random basis. At present the organization is mostly going by AQL 4.0 mark but 2.5 is also done now-a-day in numbers. In occasions, AQL 0.0(reduced level) is also performed.
